He also serves as a coach for the youth football and lacrosse programs at South Christian, where he is a member of the South Christian Lacrosse Board of Directors.
Nathan’s dedication to community service is reflected in a long list of leadership roles. He currently serves on the Highpoint Community Bank Board of Directors and has faithfully served as Treasurer of the Barry County Bar Association since 2008. His past service includes chairing the Spectrum Health–Pennock Board of Directors, serving more than a decade as Vice President of the Green Gables Haven Domestic Violence Shelter, leading the Hastings Kiwanis Club as President, and holding the position of Vice Chairman of the Charlton Park Foundation.
In addition to these roles, Nathan has volunteered with the Woodland Athletic Association, mentored local youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hastings, supported the Barry County United Way as a former Campaign Chair, served on the United Way Allocations Committee, and served on the Barry Community Foundation’s Investment and Governance Committees.
At the heart of Nathan’s service is a genuine commitment to strengthening community institutions and creating opportunities for young people to grow, learn, and succeed.
