Steven G. Storrs was raised and attended public schools in Hastings, Michigan. After graduating from Hastings High School, he attended Central Michigan University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education with a business focus and a minor in art. Steven received Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids.
Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Storrs held a full-time teaching position at Hastings High School where he also was the varsity boy’s basketball coach. From a young age through his time at law school, he worked at his family’s business, River Bend Golf Course, located in Hastings.
Mr. Storrs is a member of Barry County Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, and the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan (CDAM). He is admitted to practice law in all state courts in Michigan providing wide-ranging legal services in the areas of criminal law, estate planning, probate and trust administration, divorce, custody, contracts, marijuana law, business law, civil litigation, and real estate/property issues.
Mr. Storrs was elected in April 2019 to represent the 5th Circuit on the Representative Assembly of the State Bar of Michigan. The Representative Assembly is the final policy-making body of the State Bar of Michigan (SBM). Mr. Storrs also serves as a member of Spectrum Health - Pennock Community Board, YMCA of Barry County, and Hastings Educational Enrichment Fund (HEEF).
Mr. Storrs resides in Hastings. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
